FAQ
How many years does it take to break even?
On average, the payback period is 4–6 years, depending on your energy consumption patterns and system size. After reaching the break-even point, you will enjoy free electricity for over 20 years.
Does the system work during a power outage?
For a standard On-Grid system, it will automatically shut down for the safety of electrical technicians. However, if you install a Hybrid system with a battery backup, you can continue to draw power even during a blackout.
Which types of homes are best suited for solar?
Homes with a monthly electricity bill of 3,000 THB or more and high daytime energy usage (e.g., people staying at home, running AC, or operating a Home Office) will see the most significant savings.
Do I need to request any legal permits?
Generally, permits are required from 3 main authorities: The Department of Public Works (for building modification), the ERC (for energy notification), and the PEA/MEA (for grid connection). We provide a full-service package to handle all these legal procedures for you.
Will I still have power on rainy or cloudy days?
Yes. The system continues to produce power, though the output decreases with lower light intensity. On an On-Grid system, it will automatically switch to draw power from the electricity grid, ensuring your appliances run smoothly without interruption.
What is the maintenance process?
Maintenance is incredibly simple. Just wash the panels 1–2 times a year to prevent dust from blocking the sunlight. You can also monitor your system’s efficiency in real-time via our mobile application.
